My closing of the Ark in 2012 was out of my control and was due to bad landlord issues.
In 2014 I saw the opportunity to be able to reopen the Ark and took it. While the renovations have taken much longer than expected, the final outcome has been worth the wait. It is amazing and I am so excited for all to see the new and improved Ark.
The new concept for most boarding kennels, is to have dogs stay in a small area and be put into play groups. While this works for some dogs it doesn't work for all dogs. Dogs are A LOT like people and some of us don't play well with others. This is ok and you will never be turned away because you dog didn't pass the "evaluation test". All the animals that stay with us on the Ark get showered with one on one human interaction and love.
